  2. I bought a Bell Howell Silver Sonic Micro, only used it twice and now it does not work! Does not amplify. $20 dollars wasted! serial # 1203

    • I bought one. What a scam. It came today 1/23/2013. Background noise is awful! The volume increase is deplorable. Can’t find a place to return it. It’s one of the worst pieces of junk I’ve ever purchased. I may call my credit card company and ask they to deny payment.

      NOBODY should waste money on this!!!

  3. I am not one of those impulsive shoppers who make random purchases online without finding out more about them. I think everyone should do that if they are going to spend large amounts of money on them. Hence I started looking for reviews about Bell Howell Silver Sonic Micro, as I have always done in the past. But please tell me what has happened to all the review sites these days? Barring your site most of these other sites have no valid input to buyers like me about any product. All the sites I went through before yours were completely useless. Whoever writes these reviews and for what reason is beyond me. They have no information about pros and cons of the product and whether it’s worth my money, so why should I buy them or trust these sites in the first place?

  4. I ordered Bell Howell Silver Sonic Micro and I was double billed to, called and they said it was on back order, hell ill give the order number 6520182. Phone customer service number 1866 579 7401 stays in a constant loop asking for phone number for order. STAY AWAY SCAM WHATEVER THIS IS!!!!!

  5. The Bell Howell Microplus unit I received does not charge, nor does the AA Battery Test function work. I registered this complaint about 4 weeks ago and was told I would receive a new replacement. Have not received the replacement yet. Are you going to send the replacement or not?

  6. My Bell Howell Silver Sonic Micro hearing device gave me hearing freedom I had never realized before. I have had problems with hearing for several years. Now I wear my unit and have no problem hearing sounds around me, that I were unaware before, and I am able to participate in conversations with others with no problem. I have been liberated.   7. Not at all happy with this item. Have tried it several times. Hear too much ‘other noise’ that goes on within my home. Seems that maybe it picks up other sound too well. Also seems to almost be an echo of the
    TV sound that I am trying to listen to. Will be returning it very soon for a refund of purchase price.

  8. Ordered and received this Bell Howell Silver Sonic Micro in good time. Tried it several times, but am not at all satisfied with the results. I hear too much outside noise (meaning noises other than my television that are happening throughout my home). Also seems to be almost an echo in the sound I hear from the television. I am planning on returning it for a refund of purchase price.

  9. I saw this micro-plus advertised online for $19.95 plus $6.95 s&h and I decided to order one. After I filled out all the info, an invoice came up with an entire different amount. Added was a total of $39.90 in “unauthorized charges” and $17.85 shipping charges which brought the total invoice to $83.99. Obviously, at this point, I changed my mind and wanted to cancel the order… But, strange enough, their invoice format does not allow chances or cancellations at that point so your account gets charged with the amount “they” choose to charge and not with the amount you authorize them to charge… Sorry, but that simply does not sound legal at all to me. In my opinion it constitutes “false and misleading advertisement”. Also, as far as their return policy, I ordered mine on 11/01/11, I live in the us, and today is 11/13 and I still have not received it and they only give you 30 days to return it. I am not happy with them and their “modus-operandi” is not very ethical and I will report my dissatisfaction to all proper agencies.

  10. I need to have someone from Silver Sonic Micro (hearing aid by Bell & Howell) call me. I made a mistake in my order and ended up with a double order. I cannot locate a prompt anywhere on the website that will allow me to make a correction or a cancellation. I’m very unhappy about this and I would very much appreciate a call from someone in the company that can help me with this situation. I’ve called the toll free number many times today and it is impossible to get an answer as the recording says all circuits are busy (all day today). My phone number is 407-342-1870. I do not want to file a complaint but this is not the right way to do business.
