SoundTouch 300 Wireless REVIEW
The SoundTouch 300 Wireless is very easy to connect. The sound is great and the voices are easy to understand and not muffled like so many other sound systems but after sometime the sound started to cut out for about a second, this happened 3-4 times during a 30 minute show. Watched a download from Amazon prime to see what that sounded like and the Wi-Fi signal to the TV dropped every 20-30 seconds. Turning the SoundTouch 300 Wireless off made the Wi-Fi stay up with no problem. Had to return it because it was defective and received a new one but new SoundTouch 300 Wireless did exactly the same thing. Turning on the SoundTouch 300 Wireless, the Wi-Fi to the TV started going up and down again. If you get the SoundTouch 300 Wireless, hope the same thing does not happen because the SoundTouch 300 Wireless is a great sounding soundbar.
SoundTouch 300 Wireless has excellent sound. The ability to change between music and speech is very helpful especially with accents like Downton Abbey.
It is necessary to use the remote to find the right input source each time instead of starting up on the last setting used. The company said there was no way short of leaving it on 24/7.
SoundTouch 300 Wireless is extremely well built with great sound and seamless integration with the Direct TV remote.
SoundTouch 300 Wireless also automatically mutes the sound when the TV is turned on with a simple volume touch, up or down, activating the ZVOX at the volume level from prior use.
SoundTouch 300 Wireless is easy to connect and set up taking only a few minutes. You can also connect it through your Comcast remote and get the settings just right in a few more minutes. Bluetooth is also a snap to set up.
SoundTouch 300 Wireless sound is very good and the bass can be felt but is not overpowering. It is a great alternative to TV speakers or multi channel options, but isn’t true surround sound. SoundTouch 300 Wireless also sounds great streaming music as well. Speaking parts, TV and movies are also much clearer.
If you are looking for a surround sound that doesn’t require a separate subwoofer and rear speakers, then the SoundTouch 300 Wireless is great. Choice of 3 different surround sound settings provides meaningful adjustments to the type of program you are watching. As suggested, used the SR-3 setting to watch the thriller San Andreas but the rumbling scared the pets out of the room which, by the way, is quite large with a high, vaulted ceiling. SoundTouch 300 Wireless is a great purchase with its ease of use and performance.
SoundTouch 300 Wireless is a breeze to set up and sync with both the TV, cable and Bluetooth devices. Sound from the SoundTouch 300 Wireless is warm and crisp.
