  1. Had one that worked great the first night after that water came out the bottom, after opening the bottom up I found that water had got onto the circuit board and burnt out some resistors so the unit is now Garbage.

  2. I bought mine about 6 weeks ago, worked great until this morning. Turned it on and the motor sounds like a loud jet engine trying to take off. Way too loud to run. Very disappointed. I really liked it while it worked.

  3. I love this thing only problem I need someone to tell me how to get the bluelight out it’s driving me crazy and I can’t sleep

  4. Yeah, it would be nice to be able to review it. I really could have used it this last month, or even the month before that, presuming it works as advertised. Yep, it’s been almost two months and not only is it not here yet the customer service database can’t even find my order. Oh but they charged the credit card right away. So is this a blatant rip-off? Or just sloppy customer service? I’m sure they’ll claim it was sent and must be lost in the mail but I’m not buying that… oh, wait I guess I did. Not happy.

    • Update: Well there’s a coincidence. Today in the mail, less than 24 hours after the above, guess what was in the mail? No, not the Sonic Breathe. A card from them saying that they hope to mail it by May 15th. Joy. So first they anticipate a month for shipping. OK, that’s reasonable. Then after TWO months they send out a postcard hoping to send in two more weeks after that? And why a month before they even send that out? Well, they included an option to cancel my order because of the delay, by phone or return mail. Yeah, I think you know what my choice is going to be. Two and a half months just to get the thing sent is not good business.

  5. We like the unit, but the night light is too bright. Anybody know a way to dim or turn the night light off ?

    • Since there is no option to turn the night light off I used to cloth bandage put a piece of black paper in the middle and that stop flight from keeping me awake all night.

  6. This unit is a good idea but cheaply made. The part that connects the water bottle to the unit broke after just a few days use. Now struggling to find the replacement part. There is NO customer contact information on the unit. I am hoping I didn’t throw $30 out the window. Just saying buyer beware!!

  7. If the steam stops working slam the machine up and down on the table and it will start producing steam for me…sad but true!!!

    • Thank you. Mine was working great but the steam stopped coming out today. Tried this and it did the trick! Overall I love this thing. Using distilled or purified water is best. Just empty it out and dry it after you turn it off. That way you can start with fresh water and you won’t have bacteria breeding in the water.

  8. Is Bell Howell Sonic Breath supposed to leak while on and off? the water just seams to just pour out of the bottom. I don’t think that is good for the electronics, otherwise it works.

    • I fixed the problem, I took the bottom off and under a thin metal foil there is a thicker one when I removed that, the circular Black ring with the gray device that makes the mist is loose so I just used waterproof glue to hold it into place then I put it back together. Waited 8 hours, now it dose not leak.

  9. This is bogus I have had 2 and within first 12 hrs both quit working!! Tried to call customer service and no one could tell me anything!! Never again!!

  10. I have the same problems as everyone else and they tried to sell me a “package”. Have not received the item ordered. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN OR PUT IN JAIL!

  11. I ordered one with the upgrade on 12/18/11 and I have not received it too. I will pursue through my credit card company. I also got a confirmation email regarding the order. All I can find is a phone number to call.

  12. I ordered the Sonic Breathe and it had not arrived. So, I called the customer service number, gave them my order number and gave them my phone number. They could not find the order. Then they asked for my credit card information to “find the order”. I am extremely concerned that this is a SCAM!!! Buyer Beware!!

  13. I ordered 2 of your portable Sonic Breather and have not received it. You have charge my account and no items from your company. I would like my items I have ordered and cancel any and all others as of today.

  14. I ordered this on 11/10/11 and still have not received it. I have my order number and was going to call customer service, but I can’t get to the website now to get their number. Its says Secure Connection Failed and states the sonic breathe used an invalid security certificate? I have no idea what do do now…

  15. I ordered the Bell Howell Sonic Breath humidifiers on 11/23/11 and have not received anything as yet. If this is a scam, I am going to pursue it until I get my money back or something.

  16. I ordered the Bell Howell Sonic Breathe on Nov 5 11. I have a confirmation number, 4978431, but have not seen or heard from you folks since then. What’s up with that? Planned on this for a present, but if this is not ‘real’ man up and tell me so that I can move on and get something else. Ok.
