One customer Rebecca McCready gives The Master’s Hammer and Chisel three stars because she is extremely disappointed with the program. She states that she has tried many different programs, and being a half marathon runner, she usually alternates her workouts with running. She prefers exercise programs that give her ample resistance training or bodybuilding to complement her running. She adds that she started Body Beast and fell in love with it and still uses the program. When she first saw the commercial for The Master’s Hammer and Chisel, she purchased it and started using it as soon as it released. After completing every workout routine in the program she says that she is disappointed because it has total body workouts practically every day and, the workouts are not very challenging for her. She does not feel worked by the end and feels that more cardio has been added. There are mamy leg exercises and the upper body doesn’t get the kind of attention. The Hammer routines have more upper body and weights along with the legs. The user prefers the Hammer workouts to the Chisel and contemplates returning to Body Beast and adding some of Hammer and Chisel workouts to add extra cardio. For some people this workout may be great. She adds that someone who is not very active might have a harder time with these workouts. Rebecca says that it’s a good overall workout routine for a moderately active person or someone who is not used to bodybuilding.

One reviewer Naomi Steffanson writes that she wasn’t excited about the program initially but came to like it after adding some more weights. She found some workout more challenging than the others but was bored of the routine after 60 days. While the program works on legs, shoulders, chest and back, the arms are neglected except for just three exercises. She was hoping for toned arms at the end of the program but that didn’t happen, though she had some ab action. She adds that she finished the program with good results.

Another reviewer Fernando found the program disjointed and each workout seems like a total body workout with just a twist and it got boring after a point. He likes the fact that it is heavy on the large muscle group and lower body, core, and back. He noticed that his glutes, thighs, and lats became bulker and shapely. He found Hammer Power fun, interesting, and challenging. Fernando also adds that the program lacks cohesion and seem like just another total body workout and the length should have been more consistent in terms of time and difficulty level.

One reviewer writes that the program can be really tough but it helped him lose ample of weight. However, he also injured his wrist while doing the reverse grip row exercise and following Hammer’s instructions. Another reviewer Jared says that the program setup unique but finds the duration of 23-25 minutes too short. He found Chisel’s workouts working on his glutes and legs muscles better than most programs.

Body Beast REVIEW

One reviewer says that this program is a good introduction to bodybuilding but can also be used by someone used to weightlifting and looking for something different. However, he says that there are other programs that work better than this at shedding fat and losing weight. This workout program is effective at helping gain extra muscle but when it comes to increasing functional strength and fitness other programs are better. He adds that the workouts on the program are great and even if short they make you sweat and you feel the pump with every single workout. The warm-ups of the program are poor and he didn’t use them at all. The reviewer states that one needs to watch what they eat if following the program and consuming too many calories may make them gain weight since there is no cardio in the program.
The body supplements are quite expensive and not as high standard as those by other brands. The program also lacks rest especially for someone who is new to bodybuilding. The star trainer of the program Sagi Kalev knows his stuff though can be annoying to watch because of his arrogance. The reviewer adds that the program requires too many equipment – bench, bars, weights, dumbbell handles, and for someone just getting into bodybuilding or who doesn’t have a home gym it can be quite expensive. Pausing the videos between workouts can be a pain. Overall it’s a great workout program that will help you add a few pounds of muscles.
