One other reviewer, Terrence Sanchez reveals that Breville Precision Brewer ’s carafe only shows a max fill line of 12 cups and provides no way of measuring lesser amounts if desired. He does like the drip brewer a lot but suggests that it would have been better if it provided an option to set the number of cups to be brewed without filling the reservoir every single time.
Leona Miller mentions in her Breville Precision Brewer review that even though the system is perfect and well-sized, the water tank cover isn’t sturdy and can slip from the hand if it is wet.
Wilbur gray calls Breville Precision Brewer highly expensive and states in his review that it would have been nice if they provided more than one tester for its price.
Technivorm Moccamaster REVIEW
A Technivorm Moccamaster review by Andre Bush complains that the system is cheaply built and poorly designed. His brew basket lid broke and other components also feel very flimsy for its price.
Another customer Andy Benson returned Technivorm Moccamaster since it doesn’t add a lot of flavors even after using high-quality, freshly grounded coffee beans. Also, he warns users that using safe plastic material still isn’t safe and can cause long-term health effects.
April Wright’s Technivorm Moccamaster review discloses that its showerhead stopped functioning properly and water started to slip down the side of the filter paper without engaging the coffee ground.
Jo Elliot calls Technivorm Moccamaster cheaply made in her review and exposes it to be a cheaply made product with plastic parts. She suggests not to go with its hand-made hype.
An avid coffee lover, Ben Hale asserts in his Technivorm Moccamaster review that the 10-cup capacity is a little less if there are many coffee lovers in the house. Also, he found the design to be uncomfortable for pouring since it would spill a little coffee due to its narrow spout. His review further adds that Technivorm Moccamaster doesn’t feature dishwasher safe carafe and auto-shutoff mechanism for brewing.
Another quality issue surfaces in a Technivorm Moccamaster review by Ginger Barton. She says that the carafe’s lid attachment to the handle comes loose from its hinge easily. She also doesn’t like the fact that it has too many plastic parts for daily use
A Bonavita customer, Jennifer Mann reveals that it needs turning the carafe almost upside down to pour the last bit of coffee. Also if it is not de-scaled consistently, a large amount of steam will emit from the vents just above the showerhead.
Garrett James’s review of Bonavita claims that its 8 cup capacity might not be suitable for a coffee-loving, large family. He found that the carafe lid doesn’t have a place to sit when it is not in use. Also, he didn’t like the fact that it was difficult to know whether the pre-infusion setting was on or not. The light blinking process is complicated to understand and doesn’t allow the coffee to even bloom for 30 seconds before brewing.
According to Sharon Lowe, Bonavita has an inconsistent and unpredictable pattern in which water exits the showerhead. Another criticism highlighted in her review is that once the brewing is done, she had to rush the brew cup to the sink to ensure it doesn’t drip onto the counter.
One other dissatisfied customer, Ross Wilkerson asserts that Bonavita ’s lid comes in two parts and requires removal of the top part of a thorough cleaning. The parts are difficult to remove and get back on. Also, it spilled the coffee all over the place if the lid was taken off and poured it very slowly if it was on.
As per the review of Harvey Rice, Bonavita has a very small opening for the carafe that makes it really difficult to clean. It also makes it difficult to drain the liquid out of it completely. There might be some water sitting inside it after a washing and draining cycle and will need time to dry before making another batch of coffee.
Elsa Banks reveals in her Bonavita review that the carafe fails to keep the coffee hot for very long. Also, there is no timer on it and requires manual work to flip the switch on the machine.
