Sobakawa Cloud Pillow Reviews and Complaints

Your head weighs about 10 pounds. If you don’t get support, you wake up feeling worse than when you went to bed. Here’s introducing the all new Sobakawa cloud pillow – a pillow 300 years in the making based on the traditional Asian buckwheat pillow. The Sobakawa cloud is filled with over 10 million air beads, a virtual sea of clouds.

Sobakawa Cloud Pillow

This amazing pillow does three things no other pillow does:
1. It gives adjustable support.
2. It cools your head.
3. It never breaks down.

Eggs were placed on the bottom of 4 different cylinders. In the first, feathers from an expensive pillow were filled and a 10 pound weight was used. It crushed the feathers and smashed the eggs. In the second cylinder, fiber stuffing was used. It too offered little resistance. In the third cylinder, memory foam was used, and the weight won again.

Finally, it came to the cylinder with the air beads. And voila! It absorbed the shock of the weight and the eggs were safe.

Ordinary pillows are hard and flat like bricks. The Sobakawa Cloud Pillow is crescent-shaped. It takes the shape of the contours of your neck and shoulders. The 10 million air beads move with you and absorb your movement/shock, maintaining both comfort and support. The Sobakawa Cloud Pillow will give you rested sleep, and you will wake up refreshed every morning. It also maintains its shape after you sleep, giving you long lasting value.

  1. I have not had an issue with smells or plastic odor. I just bought my second pillow in 4 yrs. I sleep better, ( as a side sleeper ), with this pillow than with all standard pillows. ( Even MY PILLOW ). Sadly, having read the FINE PRINT WITH THIS RECENT PURCHASE, I CANNOT RECOMEND IT BECAUSE YOU CANNOT WASH THE PILLOW. WTF. Are we supposed to throw it away when our own personal pillow begins to smell? They need to come up with a product that can be washed. SORRY, UNTIL THEN, I WILL USE THE OLDER ONE FOR MY KNEES UNTIL I RECYCLE IT WITH POTTING SOIL.

The web is certainly not the right place to find correct reviews of products you want to buy. When I tried searching for information on Sobakawa Cloud Pillow by typing the same as keywords, all I got was Sobakawa Cloud Pillow websites to browse. I could sense that quite a few of them were quite obviously fake; what would you conclude if the sites seem to have the sole objective of making you buy the product anyhow? I kept coming across the annoying “Buy Now” option which on being clicked would just push me further toward buying it instead of letting me read any reviews.

The Internet is indeed the last place to get honest reviews about products from. Reviewers simply write what suits the manufacturers’ convenience and pass it all off as genuine reviews. They make their presence felt on as many sites as they can by flooding the web with reviews written by them; how does one identify which sites carry genuine reviews? It’s difficult as even Search Engines can simply display reviews fed into them. The Search Engines cannot help you make out whether the review is genuine or not. The sites that you browsed are also fraught with the same problem, hence you need to be really careful.

  3. The pillow is not good all. Do not buy, buy American made!!!

  4. The Sobakawa Cloud Pillow is very uncomfortable and smells awful-I doused it with febreze but it still smelled very bad. It doesn’t stay cool either. Completely false advertizing. I purchased it from Bed Bath and Beyond and returned it the next day.

  5. There’s very little truth in the advertising for this Sobakawa Cloud Pillow. It’s a LOT smaller when it arrives than how it looks in the commercial. Significantly smaller than average pillows. There is a head-shaped indentation in the middle, but the whole thing is so small that, unlike the way it performs in the demo, there’s not enough extra material/stuffing to squoosh out around your head and neck and make a cradle effect. It’s harder than it looks too, because the lack of fabric doesn’t allow it to squish as much as the beanie novelty pillows you see in big stores. (Which is basically what this is.)

OH- and it smells terrible. There is a strong plastic odor from the material inside, I was not able to lie on it comfortably because I found the fumes overwhelming.

Additionally, there was a problem with my order and I had a fairly bad experience with the costumer service on this transaction. It’s not related to the product itself, but all in all it was definitely a negative- DO NOT BUY.

  8. I bought the Sobakawa pillow at walgreens 8 days ago and it already broke, the seam in the middle detached from the other seam. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. PLUS I CAN’T GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THE COMPANY BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT AT A STORE.

  9. What stores carry Sobakawa Could Pillow, don’t want to go through the hassle of ordering it online.

  10. For years I have not slept well — it would take me at least 45 minutes or more to fall asleep but then I would continuously wake up every 40 to 50 minutes throughout the night, never getting a good night’s sleep. My son bought me the Sobakawa pillow for Christmas this year and I have to say, I actually fall asleep faster and stay asleep all night, and I wake up refreshed feeling like I finally got a good night’s sleep!! I am amazed. I think the pillow was supposed to be a funny gift but I have to say –it was the best one I received! Thank you.
