Compare REVIEW: Fusion Xcelerator vs Nutribullet

Fusion Xcelerator REVIEW
A reviewer of Fusion Xcelerator Morris states that they would have sent the unit if they were using it. The blender leaks and does not clean well along with the food particles sticking in the grooves. The unit is not dishwasher safe and the food that it holds turns out repulsive. Even though there is a drainage hole that can run water down, it still keeps gunk inside and the little grooves need cotton swab to clean. The jar reeked on opening after it was left unused for a week and though it looked clean, the plastic held the food. The top is difficult to open. Another customer Duncan reviews that even if they purchased the blender it wasn’t very useful to them and it isn’t good for hot items like coffee. After making a cup of Bullet Proof Coffee the blender stopped working and had to be thrown away.

Another user of Fusion Xcelerator Tony says that initially they liked the unit and used it only to make smoothies but later noticed it takes a long time to blend the ingredients well. The smoothie also has pieces of fruit that didn’t break down and left unblended. One customer Richard bought the blender and wanted a compact unit to make quick smoothies instead of bringing a big unit out every time. They add that the blender broke soon after and was thrown into the trash as it was too late to be sent back. They add that the blender was inexpensive but even then the life span was very short and not worth the price they paid. Another reviewer Suzanne Snow states that they wanted to like the unit and the blender worked extremely well for about two weeks. But one morning when they were making smoothie to have it on the go, the cover just was stuck and just wouldn’t release. Even though they tried to get someone strong to open it, it wouldn’t open for some strange reason. So they sent the blender back and thought it was unfair to pay the shipping and handling for resending it.

Nutribullet Rx REVIEW

A reviewer of Nutribullet Rx Steve McAllen says that the extractor is not worth the price because of its overall poor quality, even if liquefies everything well. He complains that the extractor fell apart after a few months of use. The gasket does not stay in place and the blades twist around the assembly. Another customer Bryan complains that the unit operates well and makes great smoothies but its gasket popped out after 3 uses and that the machine is loud. Bretty says that its performance is impressive but the gasket wrapped around the blade and caused leakage.

Paige writes that after using the blender just twice, the gasket dislodged and was cut by the blade. The rubber gasket separately is unavailable and one has to buy the entire blade assembly. One customer Brandon complains that the extractor is too loud even in a regular cycle. According to Susan Nutribullet Rx is too loud and the 7 minutes of the noise is unbearable. One reviewer Patricia returned the Rx blender because it’s loud. Damien reviews that the extractor worked very well for a month after which it started to emit smoke and strong burning smell and he didn’t get a refund because he was past the 30-day return policy.

Barmer complains that that the big containers and performance of the blender were great but the strong plastic smell in them was disappointing; the high-speed and high-temperature blending possibly percolated the plastic into the smoothies. Another reviewer Chelsie adds that the plastic is cheap quality and it smells. Another reviewer Shane could smell and taste plastic in the soup.

Nutribullet Pro 900 REVIEW
A reviewer of Nutribullet Pro, Patty, says that the blender worked great for almost a year. They used it only to make smoothies for 20-30 seconds and not every day. Over time, the blender became louder and the cup didn’t go onto the unit. Its bearing was rusting and soon rusted out completely. Because the blade wouldn’t turn, the gears didn’t turn and engage either and the base didn’t get low enough to de-lock the safety catches. Another user Pam says they used the blender for over a year with no issues but then one of the 3 latching points stuck and she couldn’t push the container down and turn. Being a techie they opened and found that one of the most important pressure points were screwed into a cheap and small plastic and it was disappointing that the heavy-duty model had cheap plastic in high use area. Another reviewer Jessica complains that the blade broke off even though initially they didn’t have any problems with chopping. But while preparing their regular smoothie there was a loud noise and when she took the cup off the base, the blade had snapped off and scratched the inside of the cup.

Another reviewer Anne says that the bearing in the base malfunctioned and the blade wobbled. She adds that the base and the container and the latter is made of thinner plastic causing leakage. In spite of having a powerful motor it’s doesn’t blend or chop as efficiently, is much louder and shakes a lot unless held by hands. She adds that it doesn’t liquefy ingredients too well and leaves chunks of hard ingredients behind. Another user Paige says in her Nutribullet Pro review that after using the blender for a few days it leaked even though they followed the instructions exactly. The blender also doesn’t blend everything quickly and efficiently. The frozen fruit bounced around in the blender took a long time to break. They add that there is not much difference between Nutribullet and other blenders. It gave the same smoothness though Nutribullet takes longer and leaks.
